Visiting Park Place Dentistry will give you the benefit of seeing the best dentist in Irvine, California. We offer a wide variety of services to the entire Orange County area, including Invisalign aligners, teeth whitening, veneers, dental implants, and general dentistry offerings such as sealants and root canal procedures. Our primary focus, however, is on prevention. We believe that focusing on the prevention of issues now will prevent inconvenient or extensive dental work that needs to be done later, and we prefer to see our patients with healthy teeth and happy smiles.
In addition to regular check-ups with thorough cleanings, it is important for us to teach our patients about how cavities, or tooth decay, can be prevented. We recommend brushing your teeth after eating food or drinking beverages, especially foods or drinks high in sugar. Limit your intake of foods that have a tendency to get stuck in your teeth, such as candy and cookies. Drinking water regularly will help keep your teeth rinsed and will wash away food particles left in your mouth. To find out more about how to keep your teeth clean and cavity-free, visit our office today. We are happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have, and a regular check-up and cleaning will keep your teeth healthy and strong. Our Irvine dentist might have further recommendations that line up best with your situation, such as using a daily mouth rinse or a fluoride treatment.

What Should I Expect From My First Visit?
At your first visit with Park Place Dentistry, we will have you complete all of the necessary insurance and health background forms that we will need to continue on with your dental treatments. If you want to fill out the forms ahead of time, we can send them to you via mail, email, or fax. Your first visit will be an Initial Comprehensive Exam, which typically lasts from one to one and a half hours. This visit typically involves a teeth cleaning, along with an oral cancer screening, review of radiographic images and intraoral images, and other dental evaluations.
If you are visiting our office seeking a second opinion following a visit to a different dental practice, please bring your latest radiographic X-rays, if possible. This will help us to understand your dental history and situation better and allow us to address your concerns. The images that you bring will be complemented with images from our office.
Once your initial visit is over, you will be given oral hygiene instructions that can be easily put into practice at home and are unique to your dental situation. If you need treatment for any issue, you will be given a copy of a proposed treatment plan and all of the options that were already explained to you in person by a member of our dental team. If applicable, an estimation of the coverage from your insurance company will be provided before your next appointment. We encourage our patients to voice any concerns our questions to the doctor during the appointment, are available to receive questions after your appointment is over.
